Long enough for me to give you a recipe that will make you famous among your friends and family. Seriously, I can never take this cookie to any party or gathering without being begged for the recipe.
Which is part of why I am posting this recipe on the blog. Now I have an easy way to share it. And now…the recipe.

Pistachio cookies
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 c. butter, softened to room temperature
1 t. vanilla
2 3.4 ounce pkgs. instant pistachio pudding
I egg
2 c. flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Sift nuts from pudding mixes. Add softened butter, pudding, and powdered sugar to the bowl. Cream, then beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in flour until well incorporated. Add chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Don’t overbake!
Cool completely and frost with recipe below.
Frosting
1 ½ powdered sugar
1 T. butter, softened
1 t. almond extract
1 pkg. cream cheese
1-3 T. milk or cream
Additional Ingredient
Chocolate bar or additional chocolate chips, melted
Drizzle melted chocolate over top.  Do not stack when storing.
