-This morning I woke up and realized that my dishwasher wasn’t working. Suddenly, I realized how much I depend on a working dishwasher.
-Last week I noticed that my lip was getting a little sore. Within a few hours it had turned into a cold sore. (I hate those!) At that moment, I had a new appreciation for cold-sore-free lips.
At moments like these, this saying rings true:

gratitude-2
What are you grateful for? What if you woke up tomorrow with only the things you thanked God for today?

Lets have some fun with this. Hop on Instagram and tell us what you are grateful for using the hashtag #countyourblessings. TheHappyGal.com”]

It’s pretty easy to get caught up in day-to-day life, and often we forget to be thankful for many of the things that we rely on (both big and little.) It’s only when they are taken from us that we realize how much we appreciate them. It’s been said that “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” If there is one key to living a happy life, I believe this is it.

So my friends, I have a little challenge for you. Take this moment to think of five things that you would miss if you didn’t have them tomorrow, and leave a comment below. (Or post on instagram using the hashtag #countyourblessings.) Then pass the challenge along to friends and family. Nothing like a little gratitude to brighten your day!

Remember, life is short and you get one shot at it, so make it a happy one.
